Mission Statement:<\/strong>
Driven by family members and caregivers of PwIDs, MFPID focuses on habilitation,
employment opportunities, job skills, and public affairs participation for PwIDs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organizational Objectives:<\/strong>
Vision: To stand as a national organization advocating for the inclusion and benefit of people
with intellectual disabilities (PwIDs) in Myanmar.
Goal: To build the capacity of member organizations, upgrade education, protect lives of PwIDs,
and promote independent living among the youth.
Objectives<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. To get registration and to deliver capacity building training including safeguarding to
    (15) subgroup of MFPID at the end of 2025.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. To organize (8) awareness sessions on Intellectual Disabilities at Yangon, Bago,
    Mandalay and Taunggyi schools every year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. To open (3) youth clubs at Mandalay, Taunggyi and Bago at the end of 2025.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. To create job opportunities for (20) youths with intellectual disabilities in alliance with
    business.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
